Peter Elson provided a great inspiration for many digital artists today with his stunning illustrative works shown on many sci-fi book covers through the 70s and 80s.
His ork was also heavily featured in the classic TTA sci-fi art book series by Stewart Cowly.

Christian Heckerworks as a freelancer in the field of digital art and illustration. Born in the former East Germany he moved to Nuremberg in 2001 and still resides there.
He started doing digital art around 200. He began doing Photoshop and basic web design. After a few years of self-training he began doing more illustration in the Sci-Fi, Fantasy and landscape creation areas. He started out with Terragen and ultimately to Vue as his go-to 3D art creation tool.
Susanne Korff-Knoblauch a.k.a. kaanamoonshadow at Deviant Art is actually a studied geologist who started taking her love for art to a more professional level in 2007.
Fueled by her love for fantasy literature and weekly role-playing sessions with high school friends, Susanne started doodling with pencils as a teenager. Never quite satisfied with her own drawings she discovered 3D Art in 2006 and immediately was hooked on the lifelike look of the characters.
She started out with Poser 7 and currently works mostly with Carrara 8 and Photoshop CS5 Under her new label Art Bunnies, Susanne specializes in conceptual character design and character driven artwork with a strong focus in the science fiction and fantasy genres.
